Who is eligible for a Loom Business + AI trial?
All new and existing workspaces on our Free or Business plans are eligible for 14-day trials of the Business + AI plan.
Will I be charged for my Business + AI trial?
Nope — during your trial period, you won’t be charged. The 14-day Business + AI trial allows you to explore all features without an immediate commitment.
If you choose not to continue using Business + AI once your trial ends, you'll lose access to the features exclusive to this plan.
When will I be charged if I choose to upgrade to the Business + AI plan?
If you choose to upgrade to the Business + AI plan your billing cycle will not start until your free trial ends.
Can I disable AI features during my Business + AI trial?
Absolutely! We’ve made it easy for you to manage Loom AI settings directly in your Workspace Settings. Workspace Admins can turn on/off Loom AI anytime with just a few clicks. For a step-by-step guide and helpful visuals on how to adjust these settings, please refer to this article.
How can I cancel my Business + AI trial?
If you decide to end your trial before the 14 days are up, just let us know, and we’ll help you cancel it right away. Reach out to our support team here, and they’ll guide you through a quick and easy cancellation process.
Is there a free Loom plan?
Yes! The Starter plan is our free version of Loom. It comes with a 5-minute recording limit and 25 video storage limit. Read more on the different plans and features here. To access more than 25 videos or screenshots you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. If you decide not to upgrade during your trial, you'll remain on a free Loom plan.
What will happen to my videos and account access if I downgrade my plan after my trial ends?

Anyone who was an Admin in your Business trial will remain an Admin after downgrading. Admins are always Creators by default. Admins can always change the roles of their Workspace members in their Plan & Billing page.

You will still have access to all your videos, however, you will not be able to create new recordings until you upgrade or delete videos to move under your free 25 video limit. Additionally, you'll no longer be able to use editing features such as trim and stitch.

If you had set up Single Sign-On (SSO), it will be disabled. You'll be able to resume logging in via the same method you were using prior to SSO being enabled. If you did not have an account prior to SSO being enabled, you'll need to reset your password.
What will happen to my Engagement Insights and Custom Branding if I downgrade my plan after my trial ends?

If you had set up custom branding, all video share pages will be restored to default settings.

You will no longer be able to see Engagement Insights for videos in your Workspace.

You'll also lose access to Business recording features, password protection of videos, and unlimited video recordings (5-minute recording limit).
What happens to AI features when downgrading from Business+ AI?

When you downgrade from the Business + AI plan, any AI features previously applied to recorded videos will remain unchanged.

You will no longer have access to AI features for newly recorded videos, and AI workflows will no longer be available.
💡Keep in mind you can upgrade at any time to regain full access to Business or Business+ AI features!

If you signed up to Loom from Atlassian.com or have a Atlassian Loom managed account, then you will be limited to 10 users under a Starter free account.
At the end of the 14 paid day trial, if you do not provide a payment method and make a successful payment, your Loom workspace will be downgraded to Free and retain their product access and content. If the Loom workspace has more than 10 users and no payment method on file, there is a grace period of 14 days after the trial period, after which the instance is deactivated.
