How to personalize titles at scale (Beta)

Give every Loom a personal touch.✨

Please Note:

Variables in titles is currently in beta. Try it out for free on our Business and Enterprise plans for a limited time!

You can personalize your Loom by adding variables to the title of a Loom. The {variable} option serves as a general placeholder for any title variations you may wish to use such as different {Names}, {Company-names}, or any other {Variable}

Once you add a variable the Loom video is automatically duplicated for each variable value you input. This will allow you to share the same Loom with multiple recipients instead of having to re-record.

Utilizing variables in titles can:

⚡ Save you from re-recording the same loom again and again.
🤝 Customize titles and addresses for each recipient personally.
📈 Provide a personalized experience at scale.

Here's how to personalize a video:

  1. Navigate to your video page and click on your video title.
  2. Then click Personalize.
  3. From here you can choose which Variable you want to add to your video title: {Name}, {Company-name}, or {Variable}.
  4. Then start adding in your desired inputs. You can add up to 50 inputs separated by commas.

  7. From here you can share each newly created video with your intended viewer

Can I add more than 1 variable to the same video?

At the moment you can only add one variable to each parent video. However, we allow you to include a variable in a duplicated video.

Are there any known limitations?

Yes, in order for the feature to work the title must be 256 characters or less, including the variable entry. You can also only generate up to 50 duplicate videos at a time.
