Troubleshooting help: If your video only has audio? Try this.
Issue
You recorded with the Loom Desktop app on a Windows device and the video displays a black screen with the audio intact.
How to resolve this
⚠️We will, unfortunately, will not be able to recover the visuals from previously recorded videos. However, the steps below should help prevent this behavior from happening again.
- Open your Loom desktop app
- Click the '...' menu in the top right and select Preferences.
- Turn on Use fallback recorder.
- Restart your device and try to record once again.
