Unable to record 'Full Screen' on the Desktop App? Turn off countdown (Mac App Only)

Redirected to a different screen when you choose 'Full Screen'? Try the steps below. 💡

Issue

While attempting to record a 'Full Screen' video on the Mac Desktop App, you're redirected to a different screen while setting up the recording.

How to resolve this

Turn off the countdown by following the steps below: 

    1. Open your Loom desktop app

    2. Click the '...' menu in the top right and select Settings.

    3. Go to the Video & audio tab and disable Recording countdown.

    4. Quit the app and try to record again.  

Still facing issues? 

Please note that even with the countdown timer disabled, you might still experience issues. To workaround this, we recommend using a Custom Size recording and cropping the screen to your desired area, or opting to record a specific window.
