Troubleshoot: Google Authorization error when importing Google Workspace contacts

Issue

You're using Looms integration with Google to import your Google contacts into a Workspace and run into the following error: Google Authorization Error:400: admin_policy_enforced.

Here's how to fix this:

⚠️ The issue can only be resolved by an admin in your Google Workspace.

Go to Google Admin and click the menu icon in the top left corner for the dropdown options.
Select Security and then API controls.
Within the API controls page, click Manage Google Services.
Once redirected to the App Access Control page, make sure that the permissions for Admin and Contacts are set to Unrestricted. That should do the trick. ✨
