Record clearer, faster video messages with Loom AI that engage your audience, all without lifting a finger. Loom AI features are included on Business + AI and Enterprise plans. 

Loom AI currently includes the following features:

    • Auto Titles: a customized video title is automatically generated based on context from the video transcript. (Learn more) 
    • Auto Summaries: a summary is automatically generated after recording and displayed in the description box below your video. 
    • Auto Chapters: chapters are automatically generated based on topics discussed in your video. The chapter breaks your video up into sections so viewers can navigate with ease. 
    • AI workflows : transform your video into a text document, message, or bug report that you can submit directly to Jira. (Learn more) 
    • Auto CTA: a custom CTA button based on the webpage you recorded on is automatically created after recording so your audience knows where to go next. (Learn more)
    • Auto Tasks: tasks identify action items you discuss in your Loom and provide suggested tasks that you can either accept or decline for your viewers to see. (Learn more) 
    • Filler Word Removal Filler words ('ums' and 'uhs') will automatically be removed from your video's audio and transcript so you can sound more polished. (Learn more) 
    • Silence Removal: extended moments of silence are automatically trimmed out of your video; saving you time editing.

How do I turn off AI features?

Personal Settings: If you want to turn AI features on or off for all videos in the future, you can do so by visiting the 'Settings' tab in your video side panel. Then select 'Set Default' at the bottom of the tab and toggle on and off settings as desired.

If you want to turn AI features on or off for an individual video, you can do so by toggling settings in your editing side panel.

Workspace Setting: If your admin on a Enterprise Workspace then you can turn on or off Loom AI for all workspace members by following the steps here.  

Please Note

Loom AI features are only available for videos recorded after purchasing the Loom AI suite and only AI summaries, titles and chapters are support on Loom IOS app (Android app is not supported). AI summaries, chapters, titles and AI write message feature are unavailable for videos externally uploaded.  

FAQ

What data does OpenAI have access to?
OpenAI receives transcript data as text files to generate titles, summaries, chapters, and text documents. OpenAI does not receive video or audio content. OpenAI retains the transcript data for a maximum of 30 days. OpenAI does not receive any transcript data when Loom AI is not used. OpenAI does not use transcript data to improve their LLMs.
Which LLMS are being used?
Loom uses Open AI’s GPT series of models and open-source self-hosted models, such as Whisper. The LLM providers we use do not use your inputs and outputs to improve their services. 
Can I apply AI features to videos recorded before purchasing the AI suite?
Auto Task, Summaries, Titles, and Chapters can only be applied to a video recorded after purchasing. However, Filler word + Silence removal and AI workflows can be applied to video recorded before purchase. 
Is there a free Trial for Loom AI?
Yes, all customers start with a 14 day free trial of Loom’s Business + AI plan, which includes all Loom AI features. An in-app notification will appear once your trial has ended. This trial is not provided to Education plans.
What are Loom's practices for keeping AI data secure?
Loom AI data is handled as all other Loom customer data. Please refer to Loom's SOC 2 report or Security Measures for information on how we handle customer data. 
Which customer terms apply to Loom AI?
The Atlassian Customer Agreement applies to purchases of Loom. Additionally, the policies and terms incorporated by reference in the Atlassian Customer Agreement, including the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Data Processing Addendum, and the Loom Product-Specific Terms, govern your use of Loom and Loom AI.
