How to edit your recording enhancements

Fine-tune your lighting and smooth away any unwanted blemishes for a polished recording 🎥

Loom recording enhancements allow you to adjust for low lighting and touch up your appearance to feel "camera" ready. 

📸 The option to touch up your appearance and adjust for low light is only available in Screen+Cam mode (we hope to add Cam-only soon).  

Here's how to touch up your appearance:

1. 1. Open your Loom desktop app. 

      

   2. Click the three dots in the top right to open your app settings and select Settings.

   3. From here, you can adjust the extent you want to Touch up your Appearance by sliding the control bar.

      

   4. If you want to disable Touch up my Appearance, you can use the toggles to do so. 

   5. Once you're satisfied with your adjustments, they will be automatically saved for all future recordings. 

Here's how to turn adjustment for low-light on and off:

1. 1. Open your Loom desktop app. 

   2. Click the three dots in the top right to open your app settings and select Settings.
      

   3. From here, you can toggle Auto Lighting on or off. 

   4. Your adjustments will then be saved for all future recordings. 🎉
