COVID-19 Pricing ends June 30, 2020

Our COVID-19 Response: Cutting Prices, Removing Limits 👩‍💻

With the sudden impact of COVID-19 on the business community, on March 12th, 2020 we announced that we would support our users in the following ways:

From March 12th to June 30, 2020 we:

  • Removed the recording limit on our free plan (Basic) — what was a limit of 25 videos, we made unlimited.

  • Implemented a 50% discount for Pro subscriptions

    • All monthly Pro subscriptions went from $10/mo to $5/mo.

    • If you started an annual subscription before March 12th, 2020 we issued a 50% coupon to your account that will be applied at your next billing cycle.

    • If you started an annual subscription after March 12th, 2020 you received a 50% discount equal to $4/mo until your next annual billing cycle.

  • Extended all trials of Loom Pro from 14 to 30 days.

On July 1st, 2020, we reinstated:

  • Recording limits — we've reinstated our 25 video limit on our Basic (free) plan.
  • $10/mo Pro monthly pricing — All monthly Pro subscribers now pay $10/mo from the date of their July billing cycle.
  • $8/mo Pro annual pricing — All Pro subscribers who sign up on or after July 1 now pay $8/mo.
  • 14 day trials — Loom Pro trials will go back to 14 days instead of 30 days.

What do I need to do?

You don't need to do anything at this time. We've automatically updated billing from July 1 onward.

If you would like to downgrade your subscription to Basic or upgrade to Pro you can do so from your My Plan page.

Loom is free for education forever

Loom Pro is free for all students and teachers. Visit our Loom for Education page to sign up and get started with Loom.

Where do I see my credits?
If you are eligible for credits you will see them in your account settings. If you add a team member to your account it will be applied to the group billing.
What happened July 1st?
Loom Pro's regular pricing of $10/mo was reinstated, and we're committed to providing ongoing support to our users.

Happy recording! 🎥 😄
