How to enable Do-Not-Disturb mode

For interruption-free screen recording on the Loom Desktop App! 💬

If you're using the Loom app on your Mac device, you can enable Do-Not-Disturb mode to ensure your recordings are not interrupted by any unwanted notifications.

With Do-Not-Disturb enabled, Loom will automatically silence all incoming alerts, emails, and notifications while you're recording to ensure your video is polished and interruption-free!

To enable this, you'll need to toggle on this feature within your app preferences, here's how:

  1. Open the Loom Desktop App
  2. Click the '...' to open your app menu and then select Preferences

  3. Make sure 'Enable Do-Not-Disturb' is toggled On

  4. Once you’ve finished recording, Loom will simply switch back to your pre-recording state so you'll have your notification back.
