Processing a video after you are done recording should take no more than a few minutes on a stable internet connection. 

The processing speed depends on two factors: 

  • The duration of the video 
  • Your upload speed

The video is successfully processed when the "Processing Your Video" message disappears and you can access and play your video. 

We recommend to not close the tab until you are able to play the video you created.

Loom uploads your recording data to the servers as you record your video. This means that if you record a longer video and your upload speed is on the lower end, the processing time will increase as Loom finishes uploading your video to the server. 

If your video has been processing for longer than a few minutes, please go ahead and reach out to our support team. We will do our best to help you out! 

In the event that Loom crashes during recording or your video is stuck in processing, we are very sorry! This currently happens to less than 0.1% of all videos and is something we are working on to drive up to 100%.
